Top Ten Euro 2016 Kits

Euro 2016 is just around the corner with players trying their hardest to earn a seat on the plane to France. Spain are the current holders and will be looking to defend their European crown and put their World Cup woes behind them. Germany will be looking to build on their triumph in Brazil and go into the tournament as favourites. A new tournament means a new kit for each side.

We pick out the top ten kits that will be on show when the tournament begins…

#10 – Austria Away Kit

Puma extended their kit deal with the Austrian national team in November 2014 and their new away kit consists of a black and white colour scheme. Austria have been drawn in Group F which contains Portugal, Hungary and Iceland.

# 9 – England Home Kit

England Home Kit

Nike and the Football Association launched their New England home kit on March 17th which features an eye-catching white and ice blue theme. Controversially, the new England home kit features red socks which something being used frequently by Nike in their Euro strips.

#8 – Turkey Home Kit

Turkey Home Kit

Turkey’s new home kit is also made by Nike. The design features a predominant black mosaic feature as well as black shorts and black socks. The design makes for a stunning looking kit which will be previewed in friendlies this month.

#7 – Spain Away Kit

The first kit from German manufacturers is Spain’s new away shirt. This inclusion could be seen as controversial as the kit has gained mixed reviews so far. Fans took to twitter to praise the design whilst others said ‘it looked like the model had took a shotgun blast to the shoulder’.

#6 – Belgium Home Kit

The number one ranked team in the world by FIFA will approach Euro 2016 with a strong sense of excitement. They will have to navigate a group containing Italy, Ireland and Sweden to progress to the knock-out stages. Their new home strip combines all three colour on the Belgian flag in a smart looking design by Adidas.

#5 – Portugal Away Kit

Portugal’s new away shirt focuses on a bright turquoise design with an authentic mesh panel design which features on all of Nike’s Euro designs. Cristiano Ronaldo and co. will wear the strip at least once in the tournament in their final group game against Hungary.

#4 – Germany Home Kit

World cup holders Germany will sport a minimalistic design by Adidas at Euro 2016. They will aim to follow up their cup win in Brazil with further success in France. Germany have been drawn to face Ukraine, Poland and Northern Ireland in Group C. Germany’s home kit was also the first strip to feature the famous three stripes on the side of the kit rather than the sleeves.

# 3 – Belgium Away Kit

Belgium’s new away kit, made by Adidas, pays homage to Belgian’s successful cycling team. The new jersey is almost identical to the cycling team’s featuring the Belgian flag across a sky blue shirt. The Belgian kit also features the new location of the famous three stripes similar to Spain and Germany.

# 2 – Germany Away Kit

The Germany away kit for the tournament features a never-before-seen design for the national team. The kit is fully reversible which shows another green design to be used as a bib. The shirt also features the World cup winner emblem on the dark green and black colour scheme.

# 1 – France Away Kit

France Away Kit

France’s new away shirt tops the list with a stunning design from Nike. The white shirt features blue and red sleeves to create the French flag. The future for French football is bright with the likes of Kingsley Coman and Ousmane Dembele earning rave reviews this season. The shirt also features a blue pinstripe running along the side of the shirt.
