Top Ten Premier League Kits 16/17

The new Premier League season is almost here as clubs are currently preparing for the new campaign with their pre-season training and friendlies. With a new season comes a new kit for the fans to purchase.

We take a look at the top ten kits for the 16/17 Premier League season…

#10 – BOURNEMOUTH HOME KIT

Callum Wilson Kit

Bournemouth have continued their partnership with kit manufacturers JD Sports for their 16/17 strip. A stylish black collar has been added to the traditional red and black striped design for the Cherries. The kit uses black shorts and socks which feature a red trim.

#9 – LEICESTER HOME KIT

Leicester Home Kit

Reigning Premier League champions’ kit is once again produced by Puma and features a gold design on their blue kit. The kit will also feature the new gold Premier League patches on the sleeve of the kit. The new kit also introduces a collar to the Foxes’ new kit.

#8 – LIVERPOOL AWAY KIT

Liverpool Away Kit

Liverpool’s new away kit is once again produced by New Balance and the design is extremely similar to the third kit of last season. The black design is complemented by red vents down the side of the shirt and the crest as well as sponsor features a silver colour scheme.

#7 – MANCHESTER UNITED HOME KIT

Manchester United Home KIt

Manchester United’s new home kit is produced by Adidas and launched their strip in China which featured new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and manager Jose Mourinho. The kit features two different shades of red, split between the traditional Adidas stripe through the middle of the shirt. The kit has white shorts and black socks.

#6 – MANCHESTER CITY AWAY KIT

Manchester City Away Kit

Manchester City’s new away kit is produced by Nike who are looking to make an impression during Pep Guardiola’s first season in Manchester. The extravagant design was launched predominantly by Raheem Sterling and has a black design with red and yellow features which creates a stunning looking kit.

#5 – TOTTENHAM HOME KIT

Tottenham Home Kit

Tottenham’s home kit is once again produced by Under Armour and was launched in July through Facebook. The kit combines the traditional Spurs colours of white and navy with gold detailing which leaves a classy looking strip for the Lilywhites. Navy shorts and socks complete the design.

#4 – EVERTON HOME KIT

Everton Home Kit

Everton’s new kit, produced by Umbro, takes inspiration from Goodison Park and the ground’s coordinates can be found on the back of the kit. The design is simplistic and features a white and yellow feature on the sleeve.

#3 – LIVERPOOL HOME KIT

Liverpool Home Kit

Liverpool’s new home kit is a simplistic red and gold design. The kit is similar to last season but features gold instead of white throughout the strip. The kit now has a button-up collar and features an emblem on the back of the kit which remembers the 96 supporters who lost their lives during the Hillsborough disaster.

#2 – SOUTHAMPTON AWAY KIT

Southampton Away kit

Southampton announced a new seven-year-deal with Under Armour earlier this year and also features Virgin Media as the club’s new sponsor. The new Saints away kit features a lovely black and grey design with flashes of red throughout the kit.

#1 – CHELSEA AWAY KIT

Chelsea Away Kit

Chelsea will end their association with Adidas at the end of the season after signing a £60m deal with rivals Nike which is double what the German manufacturers currently pay the Blues. Although the new Chelsea home leaves much to be desired, the away design features a grey and black design with a neon yellow trim for Antonio Conte’s first season at Stamford Bridge.
