The summer transfer window is yet to officially open, but that hasn’t stopped clubs concluding transfer business already.
Manchester City have been extremely active already – bringing in Bernardo Silva for £42m from Monaco and are on the verge of signing goalkeeper Ederson from Benfica for over £30m.
Transfer rumours are rife with many players linked with a move away; we take a look at ten moves that are most likely to happen.

Club: Atletico Madrid
Estimated Fee: £80m+
Wanted By: Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea
The summer could be dominated by a transfer saga which could break the current world transfer record set by Paul Pogba’s move back to Manchester United. Antoine Griezmann’s future at Atletico Madrid is extremely uncertain, and United have emerged as favourites to sign the highly-rated striker.
The French international has refused to commit his future to Atletico, and a move to Old Trafford would be hard to turn down given the wages the Red Devils could offer the French international.
Jose Mourinho will face competition from Manchester City who are reportedly keeping tabs on the situation but are unlikely to sanction a move for Griezmann without letting Sergio Aguero leave.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the 26-year-old which could involve Diego Costa heading back to the Spain in a potential swap deal.

Estimated Fee: £50m
Wanted By: Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea
One of the Premier League’s top performers this season, Virgil Van Dijk, is set to leave Southampton in the summer with all of the Premier League’s elite interested in the Dutchman. His performances for the Saints could see him fetch around £50m this summer.
Liverpool and Manchester City are set to battle it out for Van Dijk’s signature with both clubs willing to meet Southampton’s asking price. City are reportedly prepared to offer the centre-back significantly higher wages than the Merseyside club giving them the advantage in a race to sign the 25-year-old.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have shown an interest in the past but look set to turn to other targets leaving City and Liverpool to battle it out for the highly sought-after defender.

Estimated Fee: £20m
Wanted By: West Ham, Stoke, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Swansea, Middlesbrough
After scoring 27 goals in the Championship, it’s no surprise to see Chris Wood being linked with Premier League clubs after Leeds missed out on the play-offs. Leeds are confident of keeping their star forward, but interest is rife.
Garry Monk is the favourite to take the vacant Middlesbrough job after their relegation and Boro are favourites to sign the New Zealand international to reunite him with his former manager with Alvaro Negredo’s loan ending.
If Woods get his move to the Premier League, Swansea could be the club he signs for. Fernando Llorente is subject to interest from Chelsea and could be looking to move to a bigger club with Borja Baston struggling to adapt to life in England. Paul Clement could look to Woods to solve their goal scoring problems.
West Ham, Stoke, Crystal Palace and Southampton have also been rumoured admirers of the 25-year-old.

Estimated Fee: £40m
Wanted By: Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool
Manchester City’s early summer spending spree is set to continue with the £40m signing of Benjamin Mendy from Monaco. City have already plucked Bernardo Silva from their title-winning squad, and Mendy looks set to follow suit.
Manchester United and Liverpool have also shown an interest in the French defender but look to have conceded defeat with Mendy seemingly destined for the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola is looking for a long-term solution to his full-back dilemma at City and sees Mendy as the perfect addition to City looking to mount a title challenge in the Spaniard’s second season at the helm.

Estimated Fee: £15m
Wanted By: Liverpool, Tottenham
Ryan Sessegnon’s impressive performances for Fulham have seen the youngster linked with a move to the Premier League. The 17-year-old was expected to join Liverpool as the Reds have kept an eye on the hot prospect following his breakthrough season in the Championship.
However, reports have suggested that Jurgen Klopp has pulled out of a deal, doubting Sessegnon’s desire to move to Merseyside. This leaves Tottenham as the favourites for his signature. The Lilywhites want to seal a £15m deal for the left-back who has been tipped to follow in the footsteps of Gareth Bale.

Estimated Fee: £30m
Wanted By: Tottenham, West Ham, Manchester City
Also being linked with a move to Tottenham is Everton’s Ross Barkley. The England international has stalled on talks over a new contract at Goodison Park and Ronald Koeman has cast doubt over his long-term future with the Toffees. With just one year left on his contract, Barkley could depart the club this summer.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are known admirers of Barkley but are put off by Everton’s £30m valuation of the playmaker. Tottenham’s hesitation to the complete a deal could open the door for West Ham who are keen to bring the 23-year-old to the London Stadium.
Manchester City have shown an interest in the past but are unlikely to match any big money bids for Barkley.

Estimated Fee: £15m
Wanted By: Sevilla, Real Betis, Valencia, Deportivo La Coruna, West Ham, Everton
One man who will definitely be on the move this summer is Lucas Perez. The Spaniard was signed by Arsenal for £17m just last summer but has spent the majority of the season on the bench despite impressing in his cameo appearances.
His agent has confirmed that Perez has expressed his desire to leave the club and a return to Spain could be on the cards. Sevilla are reportedly keen to bring the 28-year-old back to La Liga but could face competition from Real Betis and Valencia.
West Ham could offer Perez the chance to stay in England while Everton were favourites to sign the striker before Arsenal swooped in to complete the deal at the last minute.

Estimated Fee: £40m
Wanted By: Arsenal, Monaco, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City
After playing a key role in Leicester’s title-winning season, Riyad Mahrez is now set to leave the club just one year later after expressing his desire for a new challenge. After N’Golo Kante had left the club, the Foxes were stuck in a relegation battle, and Mahrez’s form dropped significantly.
Previously linked with Barcelona, Monaco are the favourites to land the Algerian winger after letting Silva leave for Manchester City – Mahrez would be the ideal replacement. The French club could significantly increase his wages and offer Champions League football.
Arsenal could also compete for the 26-year-old’s signature with other Premier League clubs monitoring his situation at the King Power Stadium.

Club: Inter Milan
Estimated Fee: £40m
Wanted By: Manchester United, Chelsea
If Manchester United miss out on Griezmann, they could instead turn their attention to Inter Milan forward, Ivan Perisic. The Croatian international has been linked with a £40m move to Old Trafford after enjoying a stellar season in Italy. He has scored 11 goals for Inter this season.
Mourinho could face competition from his former club Chelsea in the race to sign Perisic. Antonio Conte is keen on bringing the 28-year-old to Stamford Bridge with Inter willing to sell for around £50m as they look to completely revamp their squad ahead of the new campaign.

Estimated Fee: £25m
Wanted By: Liverpool, Chelsea, West Brom, Leicester
A shining light in a miserable season for Middlesbrough was Ben Gibson. The English centre-back will return to Championship football if he does not leave the club this summer. His form has earned him a call-up to the senior England squad and interest in his services is high.
Despite chairman Steve Gibson insisting his nephew will stay at the club, a host of Premier League clubs are keen to sign the 24-year-old. Liverpool and Chelsea are keeping tabs on his situation while they pursue other centre-back targets which could open the door for Leicester and West Brom who will offer Gibson a route back to the Premier League.
